Applebee'sŪ Red Apple Sangria

4 cups red wine -- Sutter Home Cabernet Sauvignon
15 ounces Shakka apple Liqueur -- apple Liqueur
6 fluid ounces grenadine
18 fluid ounces cranberry juice -- Ocean Spray
18 fluid ounces pineapple juice -- Dole brand
lemon-lime soda -- Sierra Mist or other
Garnish
red apples -- cut into melon-ball size balls; as many as you want
oranges -- cut into wedges; leave rhine in tact; as many as you want
limes -- cut into wedges; leave rhine in tact; as many as you want
12 each maraschino cherries -- more if desired

Fill 16-oz wine glasses with ice.


Add red wine, apple liqueur, grenadine, cranberry juice, pineapple juice to a large decorative pitcher. Top off each drink with Sierra Mist.


Use the small end of a melon baller to scoop balls out of a red apple. Pierce the apple balls with toothpicks.


Drop all of the garnishes into the drink and serve with a straw.

NOTES : Because of all the garnishes, my bartender at Applebee's has nicknamed this drink "the fruit salad."

Pucker sour apple liqueur can sub for the Shakka.
